Cog Hill Golf & Country Club Practice Range (Lemont)
New for the 2020 season is the CDGA Long Drive Championship presented by Tour Edge. With two and a half minutes on the clock, and only six shots, how far you can drive it within the grid? All CDGA members can sign-up for one of the four qualifiers at Cog Hill Golf & Country Club's Practice Range powered by TopTracer Range, with spots up for grabs in the Finals! With multiple chances to hit, there are plenty of ways to win in this brand new event!
Registration:
- Registration we be available both online prior to the events and on site on the day of.
- All fees are a donation to the CDGA Foundation.
- Qualifiers: $20/player for 6 balls (1 set).
- Finals: $20/player (entire event).
- All contestants must be a CDGA member.
- Open to CDGA members of any age
Qualfier Format/Pathway to the Finals:
- Players will have two and a half (2.5) minutes to attempt six shots.
- Each player will be scored based on their longest drive that comes to rest within the grid.
- Players may make multiple attempts based on time and tee space.
- Those who finish within the top four in their division at each of the four qualifiers will advance to the Finals.
Divisions:
- Boys' Youth (13 & Under)
- Girls' Youth (13 & Under)
- Boys' Junior (14-17)
- Girls' Junior (14-17)
- Men's Open (18-49)
- Women's Open (18-49)
- Men's Senior (50-64)
- Women's Senior (50-64)
- Men's Super-Senior (65+)
- Women's Super-Senior (65+)
Prizes:
- Prizes will be awarded at the CDGA Long Drive Championship Finals. In addition, various other prizes/giveaways from the CDGA, Tour Edge and Zero Friction will be awarded throughout the qualifiers.
