Hi Everybody, my name is Kevin Eck and I will be participating in this years 13th annual CDGA Golf marathon. It consists of playing 100 holes of golf at the Zigfield Troy Par 3 course. My goal is to raise $2500 or more and any contribution you can make would be appreciated. The deadline for contribution is midnight May 21st. The money raised is to help support the CDGA youth on course, veterans golf, and children with disabilities golf. This will be my second year in Partenership with the CDGA to help raise money for their charity. Thank you all and if you have any questions please let me know.
The CDGA Foundation Golf Marathon has been an integral part of the CDGA Foundation’s fundraising efforts, raising over $900,000 in its previous twelve years. Funds raised go directly towards CDGA Foundation programming, which utilizes the game of golf to enhance the lives of individuals with special needs, veterans and youth.
FORMAT
Participating golfers spend the time leading up to the event collecting pledges from family, friends and business associates. The CDGA Foundation provides participants with tools to achieve a $2,500 fundraising goal. Then, on Saturday, May 22 at Zigfield Troy Golf in Woodridge, golfers will play 100 par-3 holes in a fun and quick fashion. Lastly, individuals who reach the $2,500 fundraising goal will be invited to a year-end party featuring golf and two meals at a private country club.
